Africa’s Cheetah Generation — If you love Africa, you need to watch this!

I can’t believe this video is already several years old, but it remains — to this day — one of the most candid and explosive TED Talks about Africa I have ever seen. This amazing man really says it as it is! Ghanaian economist, George Ayittey, sees Africa’s future as a fight between Hippos — complacent, greedy bureaucrats wallowing in the muck — and Cheetahs, the fast-moving, entrepreneurial leaders and citizens who will rebuild Africa.

In this mind-blowing and absolutely amazing video, he unleashes a torrent of controlled anger toward corrupt leaders in Africa — and calls on the “Cheetah generation” to take back the continent. He touches on several serious issues affecting Africa right now, especially government, the economy and African pre-colonial and post-colonial history.

George strongly believes that corruption and complacency are the bedrock of Africa’s troubles, and until the ‘Cheetah generation’ does something about it, the continent will not move forward.

I don’t want to spoil the thrill and shock you’ll experience. Just invest a few minutes and watch the full video.
