Millions of people take toxic cholesterol and blood pressure lowering drugs, however researchers are finding that these may be harmful. For example cholesterol lowering statins have been associated by a growing body of research with over 300 adverse health effects.

A study published in Clinical Nutrition has reported that “Pomegranate juice consumption for 3 years by patients with carotid artery stenosis reduces common carotid intima media thickness, blood pressure and LDL oxidation.” [1]

The researchers administered pomegranate juice over the course of a year and found that it reversed plaque accumulation in the carotid arteries of patients with severe, though symptomless, carotid artery stenosis (defined as a 70-90% blockage in the internal carotid arteries).

Do you realize how incredibly important this discovery is?

“Reduced intimate media thickness” – that’s important to understand. The intimate media is the central portion of the arteries. This can become inflamed and gradually fill up with arterial plaque(basically “gunk”) comprised of oxidized fats, immune cells, and their debris – leading ultimately to “blocked arteries” – a potentially fatal condition.

Anything that can safely reduce, or better, reverse thickening of the intima media is the “holy grail” as far as obtaining a root-level resolution of atherosclerosis, and by implication would profoundly reduce deaths linked to cardiovascular mortality.

This study was a human trial (the most significant type of study) of nineteen patients, 5 women and 14 men, aged 65-75, non-smokers. Ten of the patients received 1.69 ounces (50 ml) of pomegranate juice per day (about the volume of a shot glass) for a period of 1 year, and five out of them agreed to continue for up to 3 years. Nine received a placebo. Both groups were matched with similar ivies in other key areas such as blood lipid and glucose concentrations, blood pressure, and medication regimens.

The remarkable results? “The mean intima media thickness the left and right common carotid arteries in severe carotid artery stenosis patients that consumed pomegranate juice for up to 1 year was reduced after 3, 6, 9 and 12 months of pomegranate juice consumption by 13%, 22%, 26% and 35%, respectively, in comparison to baseline values.”

Improvements were noted in the pomegranate-juice-consuming patients levels of oxidative stress, blood pressure, plaque lesion stabilization, cholesterol and other factors.

Now let’s contrast this with the “standard” medical advice which is to put people on medications – substances that are alien to the body – for the rest of their life.

Now of course we can’t for legal reasons tell you what medicine to take or not to take – that’s for a medical professional to recommend. However you ARE free to do your own research and learn more about how various studies are conducted (science is fascinating). You can own your own mind and make your own evaluation, not just thinking what someone else tells you that you have to think, but gaining a deeper understanding of the “miracle” of your own body.

What makes more sense, honestly? To shift your diet to one of whole, natural foods full of the vitality and abundant “life force” (not fully recognized by science as a “real” thing) – or take your daily dose of weird chemicals in an attempt to adjust your blood parameters artificially?

This Man Built A Motorbike That Runs Only On Water

I have heard many stories about vehicles that run just on water but this is the first time I have actually seen one of these vehicles in action. The T Power H20 motorbike was developed by Ricardo Azevedo in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The motorbike works by combining a battery with a water combustion system that helps to generate electricity.

In a video released on the RT news channel you can see Azevedo demonstrating his invention. He uses clean water to power the bike and drinks it on camera to show that it is not fuel.

“The advantage of this motorcycle, which works with the hydrogen that comes from the water, is that the result that comes out of the exhaust is water vapour. This is different from gasoline, which the result is carbon monoxide,” Azevedo said.

This is truly a revolutionary invention and it could and should change the entire transportation industry. My only concern is the power of large multi-national corporations who may seek to intervene and stall or even halt this invention going to market. That is why the power of social media is so important because if we can spread word about it then it will be impossible for it to  be suppressed. You cannot kill an idea.
